What type of artists are we looking for?
The answer is very simple! We are looking for artists of all ethnicities and backgrounds to participate in our International Culture Festival Expo. This event takes place once a year, and was founded by the late Dr. Akilah Karima in 2014. The event has taken place in York, PA's beautiful Kiwanis Lake Park Annually, but because of COVID-19, is being hosted virtually.
Our Three Sisters Native Indigenous Festival and Summit is an intertribal event that celebrates the indigenous peoples of Turtle Island, which is now referred to as "North America." This event also welcomes the participation of First Nation artists and peoples from South America, the Caribbean Islands and around the world ( for example, Taino, Aztec, Peruvian and Australian Indigenous peoples).

Another event that the World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples hosts in loving memory of its founder, Dr. Akilah Karima, is named The Traditional Commemoration of Our Ancestors of Middle Passage, which is a celebration of the ancestors that survived the slave trade voyage from Africa to Turtle Island. This event normally takes place in York, PA at Farquhar Park. Because of Covid-19 , this event will be hosted in 2023. We will open artist registration for this event on January 1, 2022. This event showcases talent from the Pan African Community, as well as a variety cultural food, merchandise and information vendors .
