Updated: Nov 7, 2022

The World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples is looking forward to presenting the 7th Annual International & Culture Festival Expo on June 17th 2023 and the Intertribal Three Sisters Native American Festival & Summit on Saturday & Sunday, September 9th &10th 2023 from 12 PM to 6 PM. Both events will take place in loving memory of Rev. Dr. Akilah Karima.

SOF CORE's Int'l Culture Festival Expo has been hosted at York's beautiful and serene Kiwanis Lake Park for the past 5 years. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, these events have been hosted virutally for the past three years. However, we are looking forward to bringing this event back to York on June 17, 2023. So please save the date!

The purpose of the festival is to holistically and ethnologically share in our common humanity, promote ethnic community entrepreneurship and encourage world peace, unity and universal healing. We desire to bring a positive and remaining impact to the community. Our outdoor live festivals present a variety of health and wellness providers, cultural performing and visual artists. We also feature conventional and holistic health professionals providing information and / or health services. Every visitor and participant will be able to purchase various cultured and culinary foods, international jewelry, artwork, clothing, souvenirs, etc. So please watch out for updates regarding our 2023 return to Kiwanis Lake Park in York, PA!

Inner-tainment is good medicine and something you are sure to experience during this community effort. The event will highlight the talents of spoken word artists, including Reggae, Soca, Ska, R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, cultural and traditional drumming, dancers & troupes. Information regarding local and global environmental concerns and more will be presented. Therefore, we invite you to join us on June 17th 2023 to not only witness an extraordinary display of cultural and fine arts, but to also learn about the dynamic international projects we have facilitated, such as Global Literacy, Native American Indigenous Community Building & Outreach and the Children’s Nutritional Program in Haiti.

The day is going to be a time of community and reflection and celebration of our ancestors and future generations. We really are excited about our upcoming virtual festivals and hope that you will allow us to share every aspect of them with you! With that said, please save the date. registration for both SOF CORFE's Int'l & Culture Festival and the Native American Festival and Summit. We look forward to seeing you in 2023!

Though this event is free to the public, donations are sincerely appreciated. Since the passing of SOF CORE'S founder, Dr. Akilah Karima, on March 16, 2019 from stage 4 brain cancer, a secondary breast cancer or metastases, WAIP, Inc. has decided to help bring our shared dream with Dr. Karima's of building a global exchange of culture, traditions and horticulture to fruition. This legacy, one we can build together, will impact our future generations in a positive way.

Thank you so very much in advance for your support! You are an important member of our village and we appreciate you!
