About the Event

SOF CORE’s 7th Annual International Culture Festival EXPO

Will Be a Virtual Experience You won't Forget!

The World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples (WAIP, Inc.) will be producing SOF CORE’s 6th Annual International & Culture Festival Expo virtually on Saturday, September 11th, and the Three Sisters Intertribal Native American Festival and Summit on Sunday, September 12th, 2020. Both events are set to take place between 12 PM and  6:00 PM. These events are being hosted in loving memory of Rev. Dr. Akilah Karima, founder of SOF CORE's Int'l & Culture Festival Expo. Karima transitioned on March 16, 2019 due to secondary breast cancer, stage IV brain cancer. WAIP, Inc, is asking festival goers to send us pictures of themselves wearing something pink to raise secondary breast cancer awareness. If you have a loved one who is or has had to face breast cancer that you would like to dedicate your photo to, please include that person's name along with your name. WAIP, Inc. knows that you will thoroughly enjoy SOF CORE's 7th Annual Int'l Culture Festival Expo, and is looking forward to seeing you on September 11, 2021.

The World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples desires to bring a positive and remaining impact to the York community. The purpose of the festival and powwow is to holistically and ethnologically share in our common humanity, promote community and ethnic entrepreneurship and encourage world peace, unity and universal healing. The festival will feature singers, dancers, musicians and cultural and health and wellness vendors. Therefore, WAIP, Inc. is asking anyone wishing to support it in facilitating WAIP’s community building efforts to sponsor SOF CORE’s Int’l & Culture Festival Expo for $25. Your donations will also help WAIP, Inc. reestablish the Rev. Dr. Akilah Karima Scholarship fund and provide school supplies and face masks to underprivileged children. We are confident that festival goers will thoroughly enjoy all of the artists' performances. We thank you in advance for helping us bring professional artists like Tiffany Trueblood, The Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers and Kalayaan to our viewers. Therefore,  The World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples would like to invite you to join it virtually on Sept. 11th & 12th between 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM. The SOF CORE'S Int'l Culture Festival and The Three Sisters Native American Festival & Summit will be fantastic! So, we hope to see you there!
